I look back at my time at playbuzz with pride, it was an amazing ride! when I joined playbuzz 3 years ago, playbuzz was a quiz company, a platform for creation of quizzes. The company was in need for a major transformation as a serious data driven content creation platform.
The challenge was to disrupt traditional online storytelling, averaging 15 seconds reading time and lacking engagement. News was presented in an old fashioned manner, print was brought to the web without taking any advantage of clickability and touch devices.
At Playbuzz I led the global innovation team, responsible for conceptualizing and launching storytelling tools that impacted the bottom lines of world-class companies, from Unilever to VH1, BBC, ESPN and many others. I became an expert in driving audience engagement, purchase intent and boosting brand awareness, and was honored to play a leadership role in Playbuzz expanding from 1 to 8 worldwide offices, and from 16 to 150+ people, all on the way to becoming the #1 most shared site on Facebook in 2014 and 2015, with over 1B+ page views monthly.
